Las Vegas Harley-Davidson Makes History with the Nevada 150 Motorcycle
On December 21st, 2018, the original owners of Las Vegas Harley-Davidson helped the H-D name go down in the history books as they donated the unique Nevada 150 motorcycle to the Nevada State Museum.
All About the Nevada 150 Motorcycle
The Harley Nevada 150 motorcycle was designed specifically for Nevada’s Sesquicentennial in 2014. This 2014 FLHX Harley-Davidson® Street Glide is a one-of-a-kind, ground-breaking bike, featuring:
- Embellishments of the Battle Born logo
- Seal of Nevada
- Nevada State flag
- Custom paint job with silver inlays
- Governor Brian Sandoval’s signature
The bike was initially won in a raffle in 2014. Shortly thereafter, Don Andress and Tim Cashman purchased the bike back from the winner with the intentions of donating it to the Nevada State Museum.
The one-of-a-kind Harley-Davidson Nevada 150 was donated to the museum on Friday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m., with Governor Sandoval in attendance. Those who missed the ceremony can see the bike at the Nevada State Museum inside the Springs Preserve.
