For 2018, Harley-Davidson® is introducing eight new models into their lineup. Formerly part of their bestselling Dyna bikes, these models have been completely revamped to join the Softail family of cruisers. These bikes are a new generation of factory custom cruisers, delivering on every point – style, comfort, and of course – performance.

The 2018 models available are the Heritage Classic, Low Rider, Fat Bob, Street Bob, Fat Boy, Deluxe, Breakout, and Softail Slim. All of these new models have gotten a new chassis with an underseat “hidden” single shock. Compared to 2017 models, this chassis is stronger, stiffer, and lighter. Riders will enjoy improved suspension with better performance, handling, and ride quality. In addition to all of these improvements, the chassis will also weigh up to 35 pounds less than previous models.

Because parts are common between the eight new models, Harley-Davidson offers even more levels of customization potential. The new frames allow riders to choose between three steering head angles (28, 30, and 34 degree rakes), standard or high ride height, and a wide or narrow swingarm.

These 2018 models will also include a bigger engine – the Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-twin, as well as a new fuel tank. There is also the option for the larger Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine on the Breakout, Fat Bob, Fat Boy, and Heritage Classic models.

Harley-Davidson has loaded up these new 2018 Harleys with plenty of great upgrades. Keyless ignition, USB ports, and LED headlights will now be standard on all models. Other features, such as ABS and cruise control, come standard on some models, but are available as an option on every model.
